How it works

Ticketmaster publishes when tickets go on sale, but only for right now — there is no memory, and no easy way to see everything opening this week in one place. HoodTicket snapshots that data nightly and lays it out as a schedule.

Why presales matter

A presale window is when a ticket sells at face value. After it closes, the same seat is often only available on resale at a multiple of that price. The useful thing is not urgency — it is knowing the date early enough to decide calmly whether you want to go.

What this does not know yet

It cannot yet tell you how fast a show is selling. Ticketmaster reports whether tickets are currently purchasable, and that same signal covers both “sold out” and “not released yet” — so a single day’s data cannot distinguish them. Telling those apart requires watching a show cross from one state to the other, which means history this site is still accumulating.

Rather than guess, pages here only mark a date as gone when it genuinely went on sale and later stopped being available. Everything else is labelled as unreleased.

Ticketmaster’s public Discovery API, polled on a schedule. Nothing is scraped, and searches are never proxied live — every page here is served from stored snapshots.
